Height of expectation

I was following Ind-SA test match on cricinfo. It was second innings and Sachin Tendulkar was playing on 72*. We were destined to loose that match and it was pretty obvious. suddenly a comment appeared:

"Another century for Sachin in the second innings will go waste"

This guy was assuming that Sachin would complete his century and we would loose. I am fine with his second assumption but expecting Sachin to score a hundred everytime he goes past 60 or 70 is a bit too much. May be this is the reason Sachin has the record of most number of dismissals in 90s coz he get pressurized by the reactions that are gonna come if he misses the triple figure mark.

I sincerely hope people stop expecting this kind of superhuman effort from an aging Cricket legend. He is doing the best considering the aging factor in Cricket. So people stop criticizing your star and start supporting!

Good point
but that's what die hard fans do. You can do anything about it. You cant help it.
Its the reason people believed zizou will win world cup in 2006 for France which he almost did. Its the reason people are expecting schumacher to win F1 championship again. Fans do that.
And by the way. Sach did score century. That's what he does.
